Is Shaadify free?
Yes, for the planning itself. Ceremonies, checklist, guest list, RSVP links, budget, vendors and collaboration are free. Saathi conversations are limited on the free tier; Shaadify Pro raises those limits and adds more album storage, collaborator seats and vendor contact tools.
Does Saathi change our wedding without asking?
No. Saathi can read your wedding data but cannot write to it. Every suggested change arrives in a Pending changes card, one checkbox per action. Tick what you want and tap Apply — only then is anything saved. Ignore the card and nothing changes.
Does it work in Hindi and Hinglish?
Yes. Write or speak to Saathi in English, Hindi or Hinglish — “Poori timeline bana do” works as well as the English version — and it replies in the language you used.
Do guests need the app to RSVP?
No. Share a link or QR code and guests respond in their browser, per ceremony. No download, no account. Their answers appear directly in your guest list.
Can our wedding planner join?
Yes. Invite your partner, family and a professional planner into the same workspace with roles, so everyone works from one guest list and one budget.
Is our wedding data private?
Your workspace is visible only to people you invite. Saathi reads your data to answer questions and draft proposals you confirm. You can delete your account and its data from inside the app. Detail is in our privacy policy.
Which devices does Shaadify run on?
Android and the web, with the same wedding on both. It is built for mid-range Android phones and patchy connections, because that is where most planning happens.
Can I import our guest list instead of typing it?
Yes. Import from your phone contacts or a CSV, then group guests and mark who is invited to which ceremony.
