How Saathi works
Saathi is an AI wedding planner with two unusual habits: it reads your real wedding before it answers, and it never writes to your wedding without your say-so. That is the difference between an assistant and a chatbot.
Step one
“Poori timeline bana do.”
Type or speak, in English, Hindi or Hinglish. No syntax to learn, no form to fill. Inline Saathi buttons on the Checklist, Budget and Guests screens open the assistant already primed with a relevant question.
Step two
Before answering, Saathi looks up your ceremonies, tasks, guest list, budget and vendors. So “Am I overspending on catering?” comes back with your numbers and your vendors, not advice from a wedding blog. Each lookup appears as it happens.
Step three
Saathi proposes; it does not edit. Changes arrive in a Pending changes card, one checkbox per action. Keep what you want, untick the rest, tap Apply. Reject the card and your wedding is exactly as it was.

Yes, for the planning itself. Ceremonies, checklist, guest list, RSVP links, budget, vendors and collaboration are free. Saathi conversations are limited on the free tier; Shaadify Pro raises those limits and adds more album storage, collaborator seats and vendor contact tools.
No. Saathi can read your wedding data but cannot write to it. Every suggested change arrives in a Pending changes card, one checkbox per action. Tick what you want and tap Apply — only then is anything saved. Ignore the card and nothing changes.
Yes. Write or speak to Saathi in English, Hindi or Hinglish — “Poori timeline bana do” works as well as the English version — and it replies in the language you used.
No. Share a link or QR code and guests respond in their browser, per ceremony. No download, no account. Their answers appear directly in your guest list.
